Wagon donated to N.C. Daniel Boone Heritage Trail

The Wilkes Heritage Museum is honored to welcome nationally acclaimed author Robert Morgan on Saturday, September 6, from 2:00 to 4:00 PM. Best known for his bestselling biography Boone: A Biography, Mr. Morgan will speak about American frontiersman Daniel Boone, sign books, and pose for photos with attendees. A native of Hendersonville, North Carolina, Robert Morgan served as Professor of English at Cornell University for over fifty years. His literary contributions include numerous works of fiction, poetry, and nonfiction, but Boone remains one of his most celebrated achievements, offering a vivid and deeply researched portrait of one of America’s most iconic pioneers.
All proceeds from the event will benefit the NC Daniel Boone Heritage Trail, helping to preserve and promote the legacy of Boone’s life and travels through North Carolina.
